5 Sherpas is a web app by MVC-5 web developers. The brand identity has been created with the concept of fun and wellness in mind, the 5 Sherpas generate great suggestions on constructive activities for personal improvement and motivation every week.

Five “Sherpa” characters were created to represent each area of personal improvement: Well-roundedness, organization, career, bad habit cessation, and interpersonal relationships. The sixth character is a friendly Yak who offers motivational messages throughout the journey.

The logotype is a bold-like geometric composition designed with the font Poppins and the “Endless Knot” a symbol representing “Samsara”, the eternal cycle of birth, death and rebirth within Tibetan Buddhism.

User story: “As a person (or yak) who struggles with various aspects of wellness, I want a guide to help me take constructive steps to improve my life, so that I can realize my goals and the qualities I want my life to reflect.”

A sleek and fun interface, original characters and artwork were produced to make it attractive to users. A powerful concept and polished graphics successfully match functionality with the potential to be funded and monetized in the future.

This web app was developed with ReactJS, MongoDB, and D3 data visualization among other technologies.
